The contract only accepts contributions from registered addresses. If you send a contribution from an address that isn't registered your contribution will be returned! You can always register another address through the ICO registration form.
You can leave that field completely empty, the crowdsale contract you are sending ether to will know what to do with your contribution. If you don't see an 'additional data' field in your wallet, don't worry about it.
You will immediately receive the tokens on the address through which you sent you contribution. These GET tokens will not be transferable and are thus not tradeable (as of yet). It is important that this address is an address that can handle ERC20 tokens, since GET is an ERC20 token. DO NOT use exchanges such as Coinbase, Bittrex, Bitfinex, Poloniex etc., since you will lose your funds. Instead use any of the contribution methods in our blog How to contribute to the crowdsale of the GET-protocol.
No, this is impossible. In order to contribute you and an etherwallet address need to register that address. In case you can’t access the ether address you initially submitted, you can register another address.
NO. Do not send your contributions from an exchange that is not capable of handling ERC20 tokens. GET is an ERC20 token. You cannot send the funds from any kind of exchange. Please make sure that you have full access over your private key. If you do not control or are not able to extract your private key, the wallet you are using is probably considered an exchange. Sending ether to the our contract from an exchange will most probably result in the loss of both your sent ether as well as the GET you bought! These are a few exchanges/wallets that won't work: Bittrex, Blockchain.info, Coinbase, Poloniex, Bitfinex, Kraken, Cex.io, Coinomi, Exodus, Jaxx, many more...
The amount of Gas you add to the transaction should be at least 250.000. In case you enter a lower amount, the transaction will fail. Not sure whether your contribution is sent, please check the transaction on Etherscan.
There are several things that could have gone wrong:
1. You sent too little Gas with the transaction, causing it to fail. Please include 250.000 Gas to the transaction.
2. Your etherwallet address is not registered. How did you get the wallet address exactly?
3. All GET is sold out!
4. The sale has reached its end time and is closed.
All our public crowdsale contracts are published here. All these contracts were audited by Matthew Di Ferrante, Security Engineer of the Ethereum foundation. You can read his audit report here.
Gas is a form of ether that is used to perform changes/calculations on the Ethereum blockchain. You need to include a maximum amount of Gas you want to use per transaction in order for it to be executed.
The price per GET for the crowdsale ranges between €0,42 and €0,49/GET. We have locked the ETH price on Nov. 14 13:00 CET. The ETH/EUR rate is locked at €275,44/ETH. That means that during the public crowdsale you will be able to buy 562-655 GET per ether sent to the contract.
You probably can. However, there is a chance your transaction will fail because it will run out of Gas. Please look for the 'additional options' button and raise the Gas limit to the indicated amount!
No worries here, your funds won't be lost but returned to the wallet address you used to contribute. You can try another transaction with a higher gas price of 250.000 minimum.
There is no minimum.
We advise to add 250.000 Gas to the transaction. Just to be sure, the Gas that isn't used for the transaction will be sent back so no worries on sending too much. If you’re sending too little Gas that will result in transaction failure.
You will receive GET corresponding to the amount contributed immediately after your contribution has been sent to the contract. However, you won't immediately see the GET in your wallet, you first have to add it as a token in your wallet (check out next question). Please keep in mind that although you see your GET in your wallet, you can not move/trade it, since that will become possible 20 days after the end of the general crowdsale.
In order for the GET you received in your wallet to be actually visible, you need to add a custom token to your wallet. Enter the contract address, number of decimals (18) and add the token symbol (GET). You can read more about that in our blogpost: How to add the GET to your wallet.
The general crowdsale will commence on November 15th. On the 20th day after this general crowdsale has finalized, you will be able to send your GET tokens. Trading, selling or moving your tokens from the address you received them on will not be able before this date.
First of all, no need to be alarmed! There are several 'things' that can be going on. Most probably the transaction is pending and waiting to be added to the blockchain. This can take some time. It could also be that the sale is sold out and you are returned your contribution. If that is the case, try again in one of the following tiers.
